Do you have a pile of dry leaves and branches you want to burn-off before the Fire Danger Season but not sure if you can do it safely?

Bushfire5R can attend and advise on the safety aspect of doing small private property pile burns.

If assistance is required, Bushfire5R can assess the site and potential risks and if suitable be on-site during the burn with a fully-equipped Farm Fire Unit to assist with safety and ensure that the pile is fully extinguished.

The Farm Fire Unit is equipped with:

 - 400 litre water tank to a Honda Firefighter pump
- A range of hoses for different tasks
- Hoses and equipment to draw extra water from a dam or tank on-site
- ProPak Foam generator and BFFF FireFighting Foam (to lay a protective foam barrier around burn pile)
- Kestral Portable Weather Meter (for checking wind speeds, temperature and humidity)
- Thermal Imagery Camera (to check for hot spots to ensure fire is completely extinguished)

COST:  $70 per hour on-site - Farm Fire Unit and 1 operator.
